Counter-culture comedian George Carlin sadly passed away yesterday. He was 71.

Get Fuzzy is a comic that appears in my email inbox every day - as if by magic - and it always raises a smile as I start my morning. It's about long suffering character named Rob and his dog Satchel and evil cat Bucky. Today's one is especially good (as was pointed out to me by Lazy Eagle)

Wall-E is a film I'm very much looking forward to. All the early signs are good: Pixar, A Lonely Robot, Slapstick - sounds like a back-of-net score for me!

Ha ha! The Onion's aim is true once again, with a spot-on bit about the new Iron Man film, adapted from the wildly popular trailer (see below). I'm a comic book geek and looking forward to this film, but the ubiquity of trailers and exclusive video spots is beginning to wear thin, even on me.

How can you comment on a man dressed in combats and a body armour holding a flute he claims is thousands of years old and was passed down through his family from his great grandfather who was Irish? Don't be afraid folks - he's gonna git that leprechaun sucka! All the crazies are coming out in preparation for St. Patrick's Day ....

So in my inbox this morning was an invitation to another one of those online quizzes. Mostly I ignore these as I'm a very busy and important man and don't have time for such frivolous distractions ;) Anyway, being a sucker for Paddywhackery, I just had to take a gander at this "How Irish Are You?" quiz. One of the questions was:
