Guggenheim GrottoThe Guggenheim Grotto, much loved in the South East, will be back in this neck of the woods to do some intimate shows over the next few weeks. They're in the Marble City this weekend for an intimate acoustic performance in Cleere's Theatre in Kilkenny on Friday night (9th). You'll be able to catch the Grotto boy a few days later in Wexford town at The Sky & The Ground on Tuesday 13th May.

After achieving phenomenal success in the US over the past two years, Dublin-based trio The Guggenheim Grotto are continuingtheir road to stardom with their anticipated new single 'Waking Up In America'. Kevin May, Mick Lynch and Shane Power are keen to showcase their new single to their Irish fan base. Having been in such demand in the US over the last while, the lads are glad to be back on Irish Soil where it all started.

The Guggenheim Grotto pair their hauntingly beautiful vocal harmonies with classical and contemporary instruments. They create an unbelievable mix of pop and rock which is evident in their latest single "Waking Up In America". Their debut album "Waltzing Alone" was so successful that tracks have featured on many top rating US Dramas such as Brothersand Sisters, Six Degrees, One Tree Hill while last year the band had new track 'A Million Miles' was featured in last year's Ballygowan TV commercials on terrestrial television.The Guggenheim Grotto have received stunning reviews in the American Media and are now a force to be reckoned with in the music world with Paste Magazine dubbing the band's debut "a record of first-rate acoustic pop" while KCRW's Nick Harcourt proclaimed 'Waltzing Alone' to be "one of the most beautiful records of the year".
