Congratulations to Waterford's Floyd Soul & The Wolf who stormed home to victory at the National Students Awards last week. This is the second year in a row a band from Blaaland has won the competition, with Saviours of Space coming out on tops in 2007. What with Ilya K and Gorbachov over at Murphy's Live, things certainly seem to be happening in this neck of the woods.
The Floyd Soul lads recently recorded some new material with Nashville-based producer Thom Jutz. Will they hurry up with the mixing/mastering please so we can all hear it? Thanks!
